About Shay Ortiz

Shay Ortiz started her health and wellness journey back in high school as a Track and Field athlete. She continued competing in the sport throughout college. After having her first child Shay went back to school to complete her Master's degree. Like most moms health and wellness was not completely lost but was on the back burner as she gained the most weight she had ever been. She started to not like how she felt and how her body looked. In 2014 she started to make small changes to her eating habits and increasing her exercise routine. In 2016 she was introduced to the world of Bodybuilding and competed as a Figure Competitor. This helped her to open her eyes even more about health and wellness and she became a Certified Personal Trainer. Shay wanted to help other women feel their best on the inside and outside. She has trained several women and helped them achieve their health and wellness goals. She helped one of her clients win the OCB Body Transformation Competiton competing against 11 other women and trainers. Shay has always had a passion for health, wellness, fitness and fashion. She had an idea of having a fitness apparel brand but kept procrastinating on starting the business, waiting for the "right" time. When the pandemic hit, she finally decided to go with her gut and passion to fuse fitness and fashion together. As a personal trainer she seen firsthand so many women feel uncomfortable in fitness apparel and throw on old sweats and oversized stretched out of place T-shirts. She wanted to open an online store to provide women of all shapes and sizes with classy, affordable fitness apparel that they can feel comfortable in whether they are inside or out of the gym. We know the clothes don't make the person, but the person makes the clothes. Shay has learned that when you feel you look good in your clothes you feel even better!
